FOSS Hack 2024 is the fourth edition of FOSS Hack, a hackathon to promote Free and Open Source Software by bringing together students and professionals to build or extend FOSS projects.
What is FOSS Hack? 🛠️
FOSS Hack is a yearly hackathon organized by the FOSS United Foundation to promote Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The event brings together professionals and students to build or extend FOSS projects. Each year, a prize pool of ₹10 lakhs is created for the winners.
FOSS Hack is a hybrid hackathon where participants can either hack online or join one of the local hosts to work on their projects alongside other participants.
Localhosts 🧑💻
FOSS Hack Localhosts are localized, in-person editions of the broader hybrid FOSS Hack 2024. Hackers can choose to participate at a local host in their region. Several local hosts are organized across the country.
One of the editions is hosted at the Devfolio Office in Indiranagar, Bangalore.
